The Federal Road Safety Commission said on Thursday that rescue officials had recovered 95 bodies from the area where a tanker burst into flames on the East-West Road at Okobie, Rivers State as people scrambled for petrol.
FRSC Sector Commander for Rivers State, Dr. Kayode Olagunju, in a text message to the News Agency of Nigeria, said the bodies were recovered at the village, 11 kilometres from Ahoada-Mbiama, in Ahoada West Local Government Area.
